Winter

Winter is of course the big season with skiing, boarding, snow shoeing, cross country skiing at White Pass just 20 minutes from any of our cabins.

Spring

Spring comes with plenty of hikes opening up for you to try in the beautiful Mt. Rainier National Park, or even some horseback riding.

Summer

Summer is especially beautiful up here on the Mountain and there are lots of activities for you to try! Hiking, rafting, fishing in the many lakes or rivers nearby.

Fall

Fall is breathtaking with the changing colors along the Scenic Byway. Hiking, fishing, hunting, photography among many of the activities available for guests.

Mt. Rainier Loop, Length 78 miles, Time to Allow: 4-5 hrs, Season Mid-June through Late October

Experience the grandeur of Mount Rainier. Witness old-growth temperate rainforests, waterfalls, and impressing vistas. Whether you venture and sightsee by car or choose to get outdoors and enjoy the many stops along the way, it’s all pure Rainier. An excellent introduction to the beauty, majesty and mystique of Mt. Mt. St. Helens Johnston Ridge Loop, Length 124 miles, Time to Allow  4-5hrs, Season Year round.

Forever Changing over 200 square miles of rich forest land into a gray, lifeless landscape, the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens has had an impact so powerful, you have to see it to believe it. Over three decades later, witness the mountains slow but steady recovery. Journey through this healing landscape and behold nature’s awesome power. Limited Winter Access.

West Side Loop, Length 15 miles Driving time 3 hrs Season May through October.

Offering may of the White Pass Scenic Byway’s most spectacular attributes, tour Nisqually area, explore Mt. Rainier National Park and discover the Big Bottom Valley. Drive among old-growth forests, walk through meadows of wildflowers and witness the area’s animal inhabitants. Tour friendly mountain communities and discover the interesting area history. A wonderful opportunity to get to know the west end of the Scenic Byway.
